The Deserted Dandelion tells a story about feeling deserted by life, trapped and lost in a harsh desert devoid of emotion and nourishment. Scorching and barren days and freezing, lonely nights are all I am given. I was told to stay strong and have hope; yet the promise of better days seems to be nothing more than a mirage, a simple fantasy I created to avoid and escape the reality in which I currently reside. Dive deep into this story of desertion told through twelve poems; wander through this desert with me; I’ll be with you every step of the way.
